Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CAD/Revit Coordinator for their Bury St Edmunds office. You will produce and modify CAD/Revit models for mechanical and electrical building services, guided by marked-up drawings and templates.

Working under the CAD manager and senior staff, you will create design and fabrication drawings, support coordination, and may participate in site visits to ensure accurate digital models of buildings and installations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CAD and Revit in MEP projects.

CAD/Revit Coordinator - Leading M&E Contractor

Founded in 2013, my Client is an established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor delivering integrated MEP solutions across residential, commercial, educational, research and mixed-use developments. Operating across London and East Anglia, the Company provides a complete building services package, covering pre-construction, design and coordination, installation, testing and commissioning, and aftercare.

They are seeking a CAD Coordinator to join their team at their Bury St Edmunds office.

Duties

• Production and modification of CAD / Revit models based on marked up drawings / provided information.
• Suitable training will be provided in-house and time can be allocated for external courses, as applicable.
• The candidate will work under the direct supervision of the CAD manager and Assistant CAD manager with the role also overseen by senior staff.
• Day-to-day tasks would include the production of design and fabrication drawings for mechanical and electrical building services covering a wide range of applications and projects. These will either be from marked-up drawings or the modification of existing drawings/ templates.
• Previous experience in the M&E field would be an advantage but not essential.
• There may be times when the candidate will be asked to assist other staff members with site visits to electronically scan buildings to assist in the construction of accurate electronic models of buildings and installations.
• A good level of general computer knowledge would be required, and any previous experience of CAD drawing software packages would be beneficial.

Salary

The salary on offer for this role is up to £35k +package, dependent upon previous experience.
