Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CAD Technician (Layouts/Industrial Machinery) to join a specialist engineering services company delivering projects for world-wide clients. You will lead 2D/3D equipment layout, process flows and design management in collaboration with multiple teams.

The role is office-based and commutable from Tamworth, Birmingham, Lichfield, Walsall, Nuneaton and surrounding areas; Solidworks and AutoCAD proficiency essential; salary £40,000–£45,000 with industry

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D & 2D design, layouts and elevations.
• Strong conceptual design ability and design coordination.
• Background in manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments.
• Proficiency with Solidworks and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2D/3D equipment layout design projects within the Project Engineering team.
• Integrate machinery design with layouts and elevations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design processes and concept development.
• Manage aspects of design projects from conception to release.
