Qualifications

Responsibilities

CAD Design Engineer - Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed CAD models and drawings for propulsion system components, sub‑assemblies, and full systems to BS8888 standards with appropriate GD&T.
  • Support prototype development and testing of new designs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs based on feedback.
  • Ensure designs meet strict quality and performance requirements.
  • Travel to manufacturing sites to liaise with production teams and resolve design issues.
  • Create Manufacturing Statements of Work & Standards.
  • Support technical reviews (PDRs, CDRs, MRRs) and customer meetings.
  • Generate and resolve Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to tooling/fixturing.
