CAD Engineer – Leicester – Salary Depending on Experience (Permanent)

That’s a good start read on, I am working with a growing company who due to fantastic new long term contract wins and moving into new premises into large modern offices are looking for people to join their technical team, they have quietly gone under the radar and whilst growing are now working with bigger and bigger companies across the UK and are now looking for skilled or semi‑skilled CAD Engineers.

What you will be doing
  • Working to draw schematics and plans for the electrical industry
  • Co‑ordinating with clients and internal colleagues to ensure project are completed
  • Updating and altering schematics as required due to project specifications
  • Working with larger organisations across the utilities industry
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in CAD Software to design layouts and design preferably using Autodesk Software (not essential)
  • Be able to interpret civil engineering schematics and drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated and can work as part of a small team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
