CAD Designer (LogiKal / Aluminium)

Birkenhead (commutable from Ellesmere Port, Chester, Liverpool, Runcorn)

Are you a CAD Designer with LogiKal and aluminium experience looking to join a well-established, family-run business with a great culture and in-house manufacturing?

This company is a specialist manufacturer and installer of aluminium doors, curtain walling, façades and automatic entrance systems. Established over 25 years ago and now employing around 60 people, they manage projects from design through to installation in-house and are known for their technical expertise, family culture and commitment to continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll produce aluminium system designs and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and LogiKal, update plans to meet specifications, and work with engineers and project teams to ensure smooth delivery. You'll be based in the design office, supporting projects from concept to completion and contributing to technical problem-solving.

This role would suit a CAD Designer with experience in aluminium systems and LogiKal software, looking to join a stable, growing manufacturer that values its people and offers long-term progression.

The Role:

• Produce detailed aluminium designs and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and LogiKal
• Revise and update drawings to meet engineer, architect and client specifications
• Maintain design trackers and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to resolve technical issues
• Support projects from initial concept through to installation

The Person:
