Role Overview

CAD Designer role at Marshall Harmony. The role uses Autodesk Inventor and Fusion360; SolidWorks experience is transferable. Design and develop 3D models and technical drawings, taking concepts from sketch to manufacturable design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop 3D models and technical drawings using Inventor or Fusion360.
  • Translate concepts from sketch to manufacturable design.
  • Work with sheet metal, machining and fabrication processes; understand the entire manufacturing flow.
  • Collaborate with customers to turn ideas into practical, manufacturable designs, listening and interpreting requirements.
  • Ensure components fit together and withstand operational conditions.
  • Document design intent and support production.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Mechanical design experience.
  • Confidence working with tolerances and detail.
  • Strong 3D CAD skills in Inventor, Fusion360 or SolidWorks.
