Job summary

A recruitment firm is looking for a CAD Designer on a permanent basis near Worcester. In this role, you will produce designs, models, and technical drawings while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have qualifications ideally to HNC/HND level, be familiar with CNC manufacturing processes, and possess excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Unigraphics, Siemens NX, or similar CAD software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideally qualified to HNC/HND or Degree level.
• Familiar with CNC Manufacturing processes.
• Experience with mould tooling, such as plastic injection and metal die casting.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs using Unigraphics CAD Software.

Job description

My client based near the centre of Worcester is looking to recruit a CAD Designer on a Permanent basis as the business continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs using Unigraphics CAD Software
• Produce models for manufacturing purpose
• Produce technical drawings
• Liaise with customers on technical and design issues
• Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified ideally to HNC/HND or Degree level
• Familiar with CNC Manufacturing process
• Familiar with mould tooling i.e. plastic injection, wax injection, or metal die casting
• Familiar with Siemens NX Software would be preferred but Catia or Solidworks are also acceptable
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

The salary will be determined by a candidates suitable experience
