Are you a skilled CAD Designer looking to make your mark in the construction industry? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Building Envelope specialist, where your design expertise will help shape innovative roofing and cladding solutions.

Location: Warrington (Office-based with occasional site visits)

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

We're seeking a talented CAD Designer to produce high-quality working and fabrication drawings for a variety of roofing and cladding systems. While experience in roofing is desirable, our primary focus is on your CAD proficiency and ability to interpret complex design requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create project-specific CAD drawings and fabrication details.
  • Review architectural, structural, and steelwork drawings to identify and resolve design queries.
  • Attend design meetings (on-site and virtual) and collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Conduct site surveys and measurements when required.
  • Support material scheduling and procurement processes.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a CAD design role (construction or architectural sectors preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD essential; Revit or similar a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Roofing and cladding experience is a bonus but not essential.
