Job summary

A growing manufacturing firm near Worcester is looking for a CAD Designer on a permanent basis. The role involves producing designs and models, as well as technical drawings while liaising with customers on design issues. Ideal candidates should be qualified to HNC/HND or degree level and familiar with CNC manufacturing processes and mould tooling. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified ideally to HNC/HND or Degree level.
• Familiar with CNC Manufacturing process.
• Familiar with mould tooling: plastic injection, wax injection, or metal die casting.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs using Unigraphics CAD Software.
• Produce models for manufacturing purposes.
• Produce technical drawings.
• Liaise with customers on technical and design issues.
• Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.

My client based near the centre of Worcester is looking to recruit a CAD Designer on a Permanent basis as the business continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs using Unigraphics CAD Software
• Produce models for manufacturing purpose
• Produce technical drawings
• Liaise with customers on technical and design issues
• Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified ideally to HNC/HND or Degree level
• Familiar with CNC Manufacturing process
• Familiar with mould tooling i.e. plastic injection, wax injection, or metal die casting
• Familiar with Siemens NX Software would be preferred but Catia or Solidworks are also acceptable
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

The salary will be determined by a candidate’s suitable experience.
