The Role

We are seeking a talented Designer with CAD expertise to join our design team. The successful candidate will create accurate detailed designs and drawings for aluminium systems sliding doors and architectural projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with clients architects and supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed CAD drawings for aluminium systems windows doors and architectural elements.
• Translate project briefs and concepts into accurate technical designs. Collaborate with architects project managers and clients to ensure design intent is fully realised.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building regulations and health & safety standards.
• Review and adjust designs based on feedback or project changes.
• Support the preparation of tender drawings and technical documentation.
• Maintain organized records of all designs and CAD files for projects.
• Contribute to innovation and design development within the team.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in CAD design preferably in architectural aluminium systems. Knowledge of aluminium systems including windows doors and curtain walling. Strong understanding of technical drawings detailing and building regulations. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise high-quality designs. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Knowledge of health and safety requirements within design and construction is an advantage.
