Are you an a CAD/CAM Programmer with a background in Fusion 360 or similar, looking for a day-based role, optional overtime, and an early finish every Friday?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established precision engineering company specialising in high-accuracy plastics machining, supplying components into demanding industries such as aerospace, automotive, and medical. Following sustained growth and a strong order book, the company is expanding its programming department.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate offline CNC programs for turning and milling operations, creating efficient toolpaths and machining strategies within CAD/CAM software to achieve high-quality, precision-engineered components.

This position would suit a CAD/CAM Programmer with a background writing Fusion 360 or similar software, looking for a secure, days-based role within a supportive and growing team environment.

THE ROLE:
  • Generate offline CNC programs for turning and milling operations using Fusion 360 (Fanuc post-processor)
  • Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and customer specifications
  • Create safe and efficient toolpaths and machining strategies to achieve tight tolerances
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure program accuracy and manufacturability
  • Support tooling and fixture development for new components
