Prysmian Group is recruiting experienced High Voltage Cable Jointers for deployment on project and maintenance works across the UK, with opportunities for international travel. You should have hands-on jointing experience with XLPE or fluid-filled cables in the 66kV–400kV range and hold a full, valid driving licence due to travel demands.

We’re the strategic partners for our TSO customers, supporting the development and production of transmission grids, and helping to facilitate the bulk movement of electrical energy from the site of generation to electrical substations. Making innovation a cornerstone of our work, and R&D a constant investment, we offer both HVAC and HVDC cable systems for power transmission for both land and submarine connections.

Within our UK Power Grids business our team of experienced and highly skilled Cable Technicians (Cable Jointers and Fluid Technicians) are deployed to undertake Jointing and associated works on the High Voltage cables systems that form a significant component of the UK’s energy grid. This could be maintenance of the current network or assisting with the installation of new energy sources.

We are currently looking to recruit experienced High Voltage Cable Jointers to be deployed on both project and maintenance activities throughout the UK (with the opportunity for international travel). Candidates should have experience of jointing either XLPE or fluid filled cables within the voltage range of 66kV to 400kV (with a minimum experience and certification of 275kv)
