• Install network cabinets and outlets.
• Diagnose cable faults and perform testing.

Job description

• Install, route, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fibre optic cabling in commercial, industrial, or data centre environments.
• Test and certify all cabling installations to ensure compliance with TIA/EIA and ISO standards.
• Install network cabinets, patch panels, containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit), and wall outlets.
• Read and interpret network schematics, floor plans, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose and repair cable faults, perform cable tracing, and conduct performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Work closely with network engineers and project managers to deliver installations on time and to specification.
