Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is recruiting a C5I-focused P3M Consultant in Portsmouth. The role involves delivering large, complex programmes across client sites and offices within a flexible hybrid pattern.

You will contribute to project controls, governance and PMO support, with regular visits to client sites and a clear path for career development in a defence-focused consultancy.

Qualifications

• Experience in Royal Navy, RFA or similar defence environments.
• Communications / Information background - C5I.
• Familiarity with classified information handling environments.
• Proven delivery of Project Management / P3M in Defence, Energy, Transport or Government sectors.
• Knowledge of Integrated Delivery Planning and Control, Cost Reporting, risk and governance.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a team to deliver large, complex programmes for clients.
• Embedded within a client team to deliver projects on their behalf.
• Work across multiple industries with adaptability and continuous learning.
• Provide project management or project controls advice to clients.
• Support design, implementation and operation of PMOs across P3M.

C5I - P3M Consultant

Salary range: £55,000 to £67,000 per annum open to discussion DOE

Location: Portsmouth

Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home

The Role

As a Frazer-Nash Consultant, you may find yourself:

• Operating within a team to collectively deliver large and complex programmes for our clients.

• Embedded as an individual within a client team to deliver projects or programmes on their behalf.

• Providing project management or project controls advice to clients.

• Supporting the design, implementation, and operation of PMOs across the P3M spectrum.

The Person

To thrive in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential experience:

• Experience in Royal Navy, RFA,
• Communications / Information background - C5I
• Familiarity with classified information handling environments.
• Demonstrable experience in Project Management / P3M Delivery gained in one of our key market sectors; Defence, Energy, Transport, Central Government
• Practical experience & knowledge of PM methodologies including:
• Integrated Delivery Planning and Control
• Commercial Co-ordination and Cost Reporting
• Risk, Issue and Dependency Management
• Governance and Reporting
• Stakeholder Interface and Coherence

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in defence processes and systems
• Familiarity with classified information handling environments.
• Experience working across multi-partner delivery environments.
• Security Clearance.

Additional Requirements:

Travel Required - Flexible Hybrid Working.

Min expected 2/3 Days per week in Portsmouth.

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertakes, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
