Qualifications

• Ability to interpret loop sheets, electrical schematics, and P&ID's.
• Experience executing and documenting calibration certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of I&C Technicians for routine and non-routine calibrations.

Job description

The Role :

Hanley Calibration are looking for a fixed site C&I Team Lead / Planner. The successful candidate will reportdirectly to the C&I Manager and willbe responsible for planning calibrations as well as leading a team of I&C Technicians to perform routine, and non-routine calibrations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Participate in daily meetings with the line manager.
• Conduct daily team operations meetings with technicians.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients for planning activities.
• Schedule work in collaboration with area owners.
• Release daily work requests.
• Create corrective work orders where required.
• Assign work orders to technicians.
• Review and close completed work orders.
• Approve CMX-related tasks.
• Complete setup and change forms for asset registration or deactivation.
• Supervise calibration activities, ensuring technicians work efficiently and complete jobs on time.
• Oversee third-party assets and coordinate with vendors for the collection and delivery of test and standard equipment.
• Review and verify shipping documentation.
• Oversight of asset data management, make changes as required.
• Enhance calibration schedule efficiency by adjusting preventive maintenance (PM) timelines.
• Improve asset descriptions in TLR by submitting appropriate change forms as per SOP.
• Complete calibration work orders when required and provide coverage during team members' annual leave.
• Report efficiencies to the line manager.
• Attend weekly com cell and monthly community of practice meetings with the client.

Education / Experience Requirements :

• Instrumentation Apprenticeship or B.Sc. Degree in instrument / electronic engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of combined education, training, and experience in calibration, instrumentation, measurement and control preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry
• Proven fault finding / trouble shooting skills
• Knowledge and experience working in a cGMP regulated facility.
• Experience executing and documenting Calibration certificates
• Ability to interpret loop sheets, electrical schematics, P&ID's, I / O wiring and panel drawings
• Computer literate
