Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking a skilled C&I Commissioning Technician for a new power generation project in the UK. The role involves supporting the commissioning of control and instrumentation systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Instrumentation, proven experience in commissioning, and strong technical knowledge of control systems. Responsibilities include functional testing, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in C&I commissioning, preferably in new build power generation projects in the UK.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Knowledge of functional safety systems and fault-finding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the commissioning of control and instrumentation systems.
• Perform functional testing, loop checks, and system integration tests.
• Support system start-up and ensure instrumentation devices are calibrated.
