Job summary

Paragon Alpha have partnered with the CTO of a tier-one prop, market making firm to hire across Chicago and New York. The role targets engineers working in embedded, firmware, or hardware/software integration within high-performance, low-latency trading environments.

Previous high-frequency trading experience isn’t essential, as the focus is on core C++ capabilities and the ability to optimize performance-critical pipelines.

Paragon Alpha have recently partnered directly with the CTO of a tier-one prop, market making firm on a strategic C++ hiring mandate across Chicago and New York.

They’re an established global market maker building their entire trading stack in-house, with a strong focus on low-level C++, hardware optimisation, network protocols and ultra-low-latency systems.

The CTO is particularly interested in engineers from embedded, firmware, hardware/software integration or other performance-critical environments. Previous HFT experience isn't essential.
