Job summary

A leading hospitality company is seeking an experienced Conference & Events Office Manager to manage all conference and event enquiries, ensuring strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant role, ideally in a full-service hotel, and possess in-depth knowledge of Opera PMS and Sales & Catering. Job description

We are looking for an experienced Conference & Events Office Manager to have overall departmental responsibility for all C&E enquiries and client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Deal with all incoming conference and event enquiries; show rounds; contracting; administration and managing client relationships, including corporate and agency.
  • Check previous day bookings and assign appropriately.
  • Check outstanding activities.
  • Convert wedding, conference and event enquiries to confirmed sales.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in a similar position, ideally in a full‑service hotel.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar wedding, conference and events or sales management role.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Opera PMS and Sales & Catering.
  • Experience with Opera and Sales & Catering is a definite advantage.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality, attention to detail and a “can‑do” attitude.
  • Positive, proactive and energetic individual.
  • Highly motivated with good business acumen and an eye for opportunity.
