LSH Auto in Stockport is seeking a UCR Preparation and BYD Technician to join our innovative team. You will prepare used cars for sale, carry out servicing and repairs, and ensure vehicles meet our high quality and safety standards. The role offers a welcoming bonus and clear path to progression.

Key requirements include NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, at least 2 years' experience, a full UK driving licence, and a keen interest in electric vehicles, especially BYD. 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in vehicle preparation or automotive maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• A desire to learn and progress in electric vehicle technology, particularly with BYD.

Responsabilités

• Prepare used cars for sale, ensuring they are in excellent condition through thorough checks and servicing.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs, adhering to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and perform necessary repairs.
• Replace parts and lubricants, maintaining records of usage and services.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and service needs.
