As a Buying Admin Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with stakeholders, engage in promotional planning, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure data integrity to achieve critical milestones. With a focus on continuous improvement, financial management, and team support, you will have the chance to contribute to the wider category strategy and develop your skills in a supportive and growth‑oriented setting, making a tangible impact on the business and customer experience.

As the Buying Admin Assistant at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Buying team in the Grocery & GM category. Your responsibilities will include implementing promotional plans, supporting analysis of customer reviews and competitor pricing, responding to stakeholder queries, and ensuring efficient promotional and pricing administration. You will collaborate with internal and external colleagues to deliver promotional and range plans, maintain data integrity, monitor market trends, and contribute to achieving financial KPIs related to pricing and promotional plans.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in administration and data input.
  • Demonstrable ability to multitask.
  • Intermediate level in Excel and Microsoft suite.
  • Excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
