Job summary

Debenhams Retail in Manchester is looking for a Buyers Admin Assistant to support the buying team with commercial awareness of upcoming fashion trends. You will help in raising POs, managing samples, and ensuring the right look for customers at boohooMAN.

You will work closely with design, be a proactive team player, and help drive fast-paced campaigns. On-site gym, wellbeing benefits, staff discounts, and progression opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Critical path management with the support of your Assistant Buyer
• Ensure PO's and SKU's are raised and amended when necessary
• Sample management of current season, development and archive samples
• Attends and contributes in fits sessions alongside the design team
• Shows commercial awareness and understanding of our range and competitors
• Responsible for checking new in category onsite daily
• You're a relationship builder and find communication easy
• Finger on the pulse with all upcoming trends and find inspiration everywhere
• Know what our customers want to buy before they even do
• Always wanting to improve and learn, you'll need to be hungry to succeed

Job description

As a Buyers Admin Assistant you'll be responsible for supporting the buying team by contributing commercial awareness for upcoming trends across the fashion industry. You will add inspiration where necessary to ensure we get the right final look for our customer. Working closely with design you will be vital in making our products come to life. We're boohooMAN. Our menswear collections and ground-breaking campaigns have taken the market by storm.
