Job description

At Boden, our Buying Admin Assistants play a key role in bringing our beautiful collections to life. Reporting into the Buyer, you’ll provide vital support across all stages of product development — from first samples to final delivery. You’ll manage samples, liaise with suppliers, track critical paths, and keep our systems running smoothly to ensure everything arrives on time and to the high standards we’re known for.

If you’re organised, proactive, and have a real passion for product, this is an exciting opportunity to learn the full buying process within a creative and collaborative team.

We are currently hiring for multiple BAA positions across our Womenswear and Childrenswear areas.

Location: 4-5 days per week at our North Acton office, the rest WFH.

Responsibilities
  • Support the creation of our children's wear ranges, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to bring each design to life.
  • Notify suppliers when development BOMs are created on PLM and ready for sampling.
  • Own and update the department's critical path, ensuring key milestones are met and deliveries stay on track through weekly team and supplier meetings.
  • Communicate lap dip, trim, and bulk approvals in line with timelines, flagging any concerns early and proposing solutions.
  • Coordinate samples for fittings, shoots, and trade meetings, making sure everything arrives on time and is beautifully presented.
  • Work with Technical and Production teams to ensure Photo, TOP, and Press samples are ordered and delivered for shoots.
  • Maintain PLM data accurately and assist with order confirmations and production BOMs.
  • Keep our approvals and development files organised and up to date.
What we are looking for
  • A genuine interest in fashion, product development, and buying.
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative eye.
  • Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Some administrative or retail experience is beneficial but not essential — enthusiasm and curiosity go a long way!
What we offer
  • Competitive salary & targeted annual bonus scheme.
  • Generous Boden clothing allowance!
  • 30% discount on all current clothing ranges.
  • 25 days of Holiday annually, plus Bank Holidays.
  • Online Portal with an array of discounts on retail & entertainment.
  • Virtual GP Service for you and your household!
  • Free onsite parking and subsidised café.
