Job Title: Buyer - Roofing & Cladding Systems

Location: Commutable to Paddock Wood

Remuneration: GBP35,000 - GBP45,000

The role of the Buyer - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

• Buyer position dealing with a high quality range of roofing and cladding systems
• Supporting; planning, scheduling, procurement, and completion of projects
• Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Liaise with project managers and design teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders
• Place material orders in line with project requirements and delivery dates
• Organise plant hire, delivery, and collection, including crane lifts as required
• Working on projects ranging in value up to GBP7m

The ideal applicant will be a Buyer - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

• Must have 2+ years Buyer experience within the construction / building industry OR have Sales experience within the roofing & cladding industry,
• Ideally familiar with roofing systems, cladding or facades
• High levels of organisation with the ability to manage diary
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Logical thinker, strong numerical background, problem solver
• Ability to work autonomously
