Role Overview

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact industry while supporting key supply chain operations

Responsibilities
  • Place and manage purchase orders with precision and timeliness.
  • Attend procurement and cross-functional meetings at our Crawley manufacturing site.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and benchmark supply chain competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Engineering teams on NPI projects.
  • Assist the Senior Buyer with negotiations and strategic sourcing.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards through process documentation.
  • Resolve supplier invoice queries and manage demand requests.
  • Ensure suppliers consistently meet cost, quality, and delivery targets (Total Cost of Ownership).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Office-based availability with some flexibility.
