Swegon UK&I is seeking a Buyer in Whitstable to manage the Supply Chain function, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, maintaining material availability, and utilizing ERP systems (Avante and M3) to support the manufacturing process.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Purchasing role within a Manufacturing environment, with strong ERP understanding and excellent organizational skills.
The Buyer will efficiently manage the Supply Chain function, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency within the Supply Chain team. This role involves negotiating competitive pricing and service levels with all suppliers, whilst maintaining material availability for a seamless manufacturing process, without holding excessive inventory. Utilising two ERP systems (Avante and M3) and working closely with other departments to maintain a high level of customer service.
This role is fully office based, five days per week at our site in Whitstable, Kent and the appointed employee would need to live within close proximity to the site, with a full UK driving licence.
