Buyer – Exciting Opportunity with a Growing Engineering Business.

Are you an experienced Buyer looking to take the next step in your career? Join a thriving manufacturing business in Thame, offering excellent opportunities for growth and development across the organisation.
As a Buyer, you will play a key role in the Commercial team, managing the purchase of goods, materials, components, and services to meet operational needs while balancing cost, quality, and delivery. You will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management, ensuring continuity of supply for all customers. The Buyer will also support new product introduction (NPI) projects by sourcing materials and providing input on tooling and pricing decisions.
This is a fantastic role for someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent organisation skills, and experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful Buyer will proactively monitor stock levels, manage pushouts, and identify opportunities for savings and process improvements. You will collaborate closely with the overseas team, helping implement supply chain strategies and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Location: Thame
  • Working hours: Mon–Thurs 08:30–17:00, Fri 08:30–13:30 (37 hours per week)
