We are looking for a Buyer to join our client's team on a permanent basis, to be based in the Wrexham area.

Performance Objectives
  • Manage the procurement process for assigned categories, ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage purchasing for new product introductions and major projects.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve best value for our client.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Developing and implementing global category strategies to support manufacturing operations in UK, India, USA, China & Brazil.
  • Engaging and negotiating with suppliers globally to optimise value - maximising supplier competitiveness and performance.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, particularly Product Development Engineers, to identify, evaluate and295 adopt innovative technologies.
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in a buying or procurement role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering sectors.
