Roc Search is seeking an experienced Buyer for its Melksham-based product and commercial team. The role offers ownership of product ranges, supplier negotiations, and impact on sales, margins and assortment.

You will analyse commercial data, manage stock, price and supplier performance, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-growing product-led business. On-site role with a focus on delivering commercial value and customer-focused ranges.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Buyer, Senior Buyer or similar commercial product role.
• Previous buying experience within a product-led sector.
• Strong commercial understanding of sales, margin, pricing, stock and supplier performance.
• Proven experience negotiating with and managing suppliers.
• Experience sourcing and developing products and product ranges.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with commercial data.
• Excellent Excel skills and strong numerical ability.
• Balance commercial opportunity with customer requirements, quality and risk.
• Confidence to challenge, influence and make commercially sound recommendations.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to improving processes and performance.

Buyer – Product & Commercial- Melksham (onsite)- Permanent- £55-70k depending on experience

Essential skills required-
