Job Description
- Manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms for goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform purchasing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure timely procurement to support continuous supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet purchasing requirements.
- Analyse cost-saving opportunities and implement improvements where possible.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
- Previous experience in procurement or a related field within the FMCG industry.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills to deliver value to the business.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and procurement best practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for purchasing and data analysis.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
