Job summary

A leading global workforce solutions provider is seeking a Buyer for its dynamic Oil & Gas sector. This role involves managing procurement activities on-site in Talacre, especially for the ENI Liverpool Bay Project. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Buyer or equivalent and strong understanding of purchasing strategies. Proficiency in SAP and MS365 is required. Join a collaborative team focused on critical projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Buyer for goods and services in Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Purchase Requisitions autonomously for goods and services.
  • Review Purchase Requisitions to ensure completeness and alignment with budget and technical project needs.
  • Prepare a comprehensive tender strategy with relevant procurement documentation for vendors.
  • Liaise daily with bidders, inspectors, vendors, and the Kingston office to clarify needs and requests.
  • Support vendors in preparing technical/commercial proposals while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Compare vendor proposals and recommend actions to enhance project outcomes.

Skills

Proven experience as a Buyer or equivalent in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry
Strong understanding of goods and services purchasing strategies
Proficiency in SAP
Proficiency in MS365

Education

Relevant procurement or supply chain certifications
