We’re now seeking a talented and detail‑focused Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. This is a role for a proactive, analytical professional who can secure sustainable, value‑driven supply solutions while supporting new product development and continuous improvement across the business.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and continuously review the Purchase Order System (EPICOR/MRP) to ensure accuracy and material availability
  • Fulfil non-MRP, transactional, strategic and tactical sourcing requisitions
  • Evaluate all sources of supply to ensure competitive value for money (VFM)
  • Monitor open purchase orders and ensure build plan continuity, escalating deviations
  • Work with Quality to investigate and action supplier quality issues in a timely manner
  • Support Development with new product costings, base‑cost establishment and TCA‑based risk assessments
  • Provide Operations with bespoke project costings and execute all associated procurement
  • Assist Finance with invoice processing to protect the Partnership’s financial interests
  • Carry out quarterly performance reviews with key suppliers and renegotiate terms as required
  • Assess operational and financial risks of current and potential supply opportunities
  • Review supplier spend, monitor capacity issues and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Understand and negotiate supplier terms and conditions in line with legal and commercial principles
  • Provide regular sourcing, supply and expenditure reports to relevant stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and project management
  • Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Proven commercial negotiation success, including complex agreements
  • Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels
  • High attention to detail, strong organisation and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Understanding of manufacturing cost drivers and end‑to‑end supply‑chain dynamics
  • A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and upholding company values
  • Promote amicable and effective relationships with suppliers and internal departments
  • Participate in relevant training, support compliance with company policies and maintain accurate documentation
  • Conduct market research (including global supply opportunities) and help maintain trade information resources
