Role

This role is responsible for managing production schedules through effective MRP planning to ensure uninterrupted supply and smooth operations. It involves sourcing materials and negotiating cost‑effective contracts while upholding quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction standards. The position also requires identifying and developing reliable suppliers, managing supplier performance, and conducting regular reviews to drive improvements. Duties include preparing and authorising contracts and invoices, overseeing purchase orders, monitoring market trends, and supporting cost‑reduction initiatives. The role also focuses on stock control, supplier negotiations, and developing efficient supply agreements.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you’ll need experience in MRP/ERP, commercial awareness and a full UK driving licence as there is occasional travel between sites.
