Purpose of the Role

Join the Purchasing team as a Buyer, where you'll work alongside experienced professionals and receive mentorship while bringing innovative ideas to life, from concept to completion, ensuring Bentley products reach our global customers. Reporting to the Purchase Commodity Leader, your key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee purchasing activities across multiple commodity areas, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective parts to Bentley's factory.
  • Develop and implement commodity strategies, selecting the best suppliers to meet Bentley's standards.
  • Manage spend categories within Metals, Exterior, Interior, Connectivity, Powertrain, and Aftermarket.
  • Negotiate costs, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with procurement processes while identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
  • Foster commercial discipline through collaborative, cross-functional teamwork.
  • Work closely with VW Group brands (Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini) to enhance operational efficiency and deliver innovative products.
  • Contribute to forward-looking projects in sustainability, innovation, and software development.
About the Team

Purchasing is responsible for securing sustainable and cost efficient supply chains, managing supplier performance, risk management and ownership of the planning and delivery of all Bentley new production models, aftersales parts as well as suppliers for our internal infrastructure.
