Job summary

Axon Moore are partnering with a growing retailer in Greater Manchester to appoint a Buyer - Home Textiles. You will own the Home Textiles category, shape ranges from concept to launch, and work closely with Design, Merchandising, Ecommerce and Supply Chain teams in a busy office setting.

The role suits an experienced Buyer or a strong Junior Buyer ready to step up, with a focus on range development, supplier negotiations, and data analysis to grow sales and margins.

Qualifications

• Previous buying experience within Home, Textiles, Soft Furnishings or a comparable retail category.
• Experience managing product ranges within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse sales and margin performance.
• Experience negotiating directly with suppliers.
• A good understanding of product development and critical path management.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident Excel skills and the ability to work with data.
• Experience within textiles, homewares or overseas sourcing would be highly advantageous.

Axon Moore are currently partnering with an established and growing retail business in Greater Manchester who are looking to appoint a Buyer to take ownership of a key Home Textiles category.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Buyer, or a strong Junior Buyer ready to take the next step, to join a fast-paced commercial environment where you'll have genuine ownership of product ranges and the opportunity to influence category growth.

You’ll play a key role in developing commercially successful ranges, working closely with Design, Merchandising, Ecommerce and Supply Chain teams to bring products from initial concept through to launch.

The role
