A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Buyer to join their client in Burton upon Trent on a temp to perm basis. This full-time role requires previous buying experience and responsibilities include negotiating competitive pricing, managing lead times, and building supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulations and support procurement processes. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
SF Recruitment are looking for a Buyer to join their client in Burton on a temp to perm basis.
This is a full-time office based role working 37.5 hours per week paying £35k. To be considered for this role it is essential you have previous Buying experience to support fast-moving projects. You'll take ownership of sourcing materials, equipment and subcontracted services that meet project delivery requirements, all while ensuring value for money.
Duties will include :
The role involves maintaining supplier records, ensuring compliance with regulations, resolving delivery and quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement across procurement processes.
