A high-end butchery operation in Leighton Buzzard is seeking butchers with varying experience, from junior to master butcher. Job description

Overview

We are looking for a number of butchers to join a high end butchery operation in the Leighton Buzzard/Milton Keynes area. Due to location a car driver would be preferred.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm with a hour for lunch. The salary is dependent upon background; the client is happy to consider candidates who cover the spectrum of butchery, from a junior butcher to a master butcher.

Responsibilities

• Your primary task will be to debone beef from the carcass and handle all aspects of butchery for this premium brand.
• The company provides all knives etc and are looking for butchery personnel asap.
• This s a FSA approved cutting station.

Qualifications / Experience

• Salary bands listed as: Junior £25,000-35,000; Senior £40,000-45,000.
• Open to candidates across the spectrum of butchery skill, from junior to master butcher.
• One hour trial is undertaken at interview to demonstrate skillset.
• Driver preferred due to location.
