Job summary

Busy Bees Eastbourne is seeking a Relief Early Years Educator to join our leading nursery group. You’ll help deliver engaging activities, support early years learning, and ensure a safe, welcoming space for children from 0 to 5, collaborating with families as a Key Person.

The role emphasizes empathy, excellent communication, and the ability to create inclusive learning environments while aligning with Busy Bees’ Bee Curious curriculum and community opportunities.

• Level 2 qualification in early years education.
• Experience working with children under 5.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children’s development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering strong partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children’s progress through observations and assessments.

You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
