Job summary

A dedicated alternative education provider in Bradford is seeking a Business Tutor to deliver NCFE qualifications. In this full-time role, you will teach young people, ensuring their engagement and safeguarding. The ideal candidate has a minimum level 3 business qualification and a passion for supporting students with complex needs. This role includes a salary of £23,080 to £25,500 for 230 days, alongside a Private Medical plan.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in an education setting.
• Knowledge of barriers to learning affecting disengaged youth.
• Experience in providing safeguarding for students.

Responsibilities

• Teach NCFE VCert Technical Award in Business and Enterprise.
• Prepare lesson plans and ensure course progression.
• Engage pupils using various innovative assessment methods.

Skills

Engaging and motivating young people

Knowledge of safeguarding policies

Ability to pass a DBS check

Education

Recognised business qualification at level 3 or equivalent

GCSE C or above in Maths and English
