Job description

Business Travel Consultant – Out of Hours required for this GlobalTMC. Seeking an experienced Travel professional from a corporate Travel management company or business travel background with GDS skills in either Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus. This is a homebased role working a rotating OOH shift pattern to include evenings and weekends, salary DOE but around £35 / 37k mark.

• Dealing with a Out of hours calls, booking complex worldwide travel arrangements including flights, hotels, car hire, rail as a BTC using Sabre
• Changing and amending trips,issuing and reissuing tickets, and problem solving

Business Travel Consultants - Skills Required

• Business Travel experience is essential as you will be dealing with out of hours and sometimes emergency enquiries.
• Strong knowledge of a GDS Sabre preferred but Galileo or Amadeus will be considered for an experienced BTC
• Ticketing and reissuing experience
• Exceptional service

Additional Info -

Shifts are a 12 week rotating combination of the following :

• Splits shift: 06.00 and 18.00 starts for 3.5 or 4.5 hours
• Late shift: 17.00 starts for 7 hours
• Weekends: 07.00, 08.00 or 12.00, 13.00 starts for 10 hours
• No Through nights!
• Weekends & Bank holidays – 2 full weekends off every 12 weeks with an additional 4 single weekend days . Bank holidays as per your working rota
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Ability to buy and sell holidays up to 5 extra days
