Fluent partners with mission‑critical software companies and supports them with proven best practices across pricing, professional services, R&D, M&A integration, and operational excellence — enabling long‑term sustainable growth.
We are looking for a Business Transformation Leader to spearhead value creation across Fluent Software Group’s growing portfolio. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our post‑acquisition strategy, driving integration, accelerating operational excellence, and unlocking the power of AI across newly acquired businesses.
As a hands‑on transformation partner to portfolio company leadership teams, you will lead from the front; embedding Valsoft Playbooks across Pricing, Professional Services, and R&D while championing AI enablement within core operating models.
You’ll translate best practices into measurable impact, helping businesses scale smarter, faster, and more profitably.
This is a senior, high‑visibility opportunity for a bold change leader who thrives in dynamic, founder‑led environments. You’ll combine strategic vision with operational execution, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and deliver tangible results in a decentralized setting where ownership and impact go hand in hand.
- Lead post‑acquisition integration activities, from diligence through execution, ensuring alignment with Fluent and Valsoft best practices
- Partner with executive teams of acquired businesses to translate integration objectives into clear operational priorities
- Establish and continuously improve scalable integration playbooks, checklists, and governance frameworks
- Track, report, and drive key integration KPIs and value creation metrics
- Identify integration risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Act as the central point of coordination between Fluent, Valsoft, and portfolio company stakeholders
- Lead the implementation of AI tools and workflows across portfolio companies
- Work with business leaders to embed AI into standard operating procedures, improving efficiency, decision‑making, and scalability
- Ensure AI adoption aligns with Valsoft best practices, focusing on practical, value‑driven use cases rather than experimentation for its own sake
- Support change management and adoption to ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes
- Drive the rollout and adoption of Valsoft’s Pricing Playbook, including value‑based pricing, discount governance, and monetization optimization
- Implement the Professional Services Playbook, improving utilization, delivery margins, and customer outcomes
- Support the adoption of the R&D Playbook, helping teams improve roadmap discipline, prioritization, and development efficiency
- Partner closely with functional leaders to tailor playbooks to each business while maintaining core standards
- Conduct financial analysis across P&L, revenue, cost structures, and operational performance
- Build and maintain post‑integration forecasts based on diligence findings and transformation initiatives
- Support executive decision‑making with clear insights, structured recommendations, and data‑driven analysis
- Proven experience in business transformation, post‑merger integration, consulting, or operational leadership within the software industry
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional initiatives across pricing, professional services, product/R&D, or operations
- Strong understanding of SaaS or software business models
- Experience implementing process improvements or digital/AI‑enabled transformations
- Exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority
- Comfortable operating in a decentralized, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capability
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Work model: Remote, home‑based within the UK
- Office presence: Required in the Woking office approximately up to three times per month
- Travel: Regular travel to portfolio companies as required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
- Language: Fluent English required; additional languages are an asset
- Right to work: Must be legally authorized to work in the UK
