This organisation is a key contributor to the energy transition, developing and operating district energy, renewable heat and industrial energy assets across the UK. Backed by long-term investment and experiencing continued growth, the business is strengthening its UK technology leadership to support scale, resilience and digital enablement.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business Technology Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping a secure, reliable and future-ready technology landscape for the UK business.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility across IT and Operational Technology, acting as the strategic bridge between UK leadership and Group IT. You will shape the local technology roadmap in line with group architecture and cyber standards, while ensuring technology actively enables business growth, operational excellence and data‑led decision‑making.
The role is operational from day one, with strong support from Group IT. Over time, you will take on greater autonomy and strategic ownership across all UK technology domains.
Support adoption of data, automation, AI and digital solutions to drive efficiency and operational performance.
