About the Role

This is a vital, full-time, long-term supply position covering an extended absence, providing stability and a genuine opportunity to embed yourself within the school community. The role carries the full responsibilities of a permanent teacher, focusing on delivering high-quality, engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent and proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level (KS3-KS4 minimum)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

• Participating in school duties, staff meetings, and professional development activities as required for a long‑term placement.
• Monitoring and tracking student progress, implementing effective intervention strategies where necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records of student attendance and progress.
• Communicating effectively with parents/carers regarding student performance and well‑being.
• Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning culture where all students feel valued.
