About the Role

Are you passionate about marine science and aquaculture? LRQA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Support Specialist to support the administration and technical delivery of global aquaculture certification schemes. This role is central to ensuring our clients, auditors, and stakeholders receive first-class service throughout the certification lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full audit lifecycle—from application to certificate issuance.
  • Maintain and update internal and external scheme databases.
  • Ensure data accuracy for invoicing, resource planning, and compliance.
  • Support scheme owners and auditors with timely, accurate information.
  • Participate in scheme owner meetings and industry events.
  • Assist in auditor onboarding, competency tracking, and training delivery.
  • Contribute to operational efficiency improvements and process innovation.
  • Handle client and stakeholder queries with professionalism and care.
What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Experience in compliance administration and database management.
  • Tertiary education (preferably in marine science, aquaculture, or related fields).
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Interest in marine environments and aquaculture.
  • Experience with certification schemes (ASC, BAP, Global GAP, MSC, BRC, SQF).
  • Familiarity with ISO 17065 and accreditation processes.
