Job description

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham. You must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the right‑to‑work documents to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work flexibly as part of a diverse team environment, providing cover when needed to ensure continuity of service provision.
  • Process a range of finance transactions such as rent invoices, BACs payments, council tax bills, prepaid payments, council rent and cash payments.
  • Work closely with team managers, social workers and external stakeholders to ensure all financial processes are completed accurately and within KPI's.
  • Maintain high accuracy, organisation and attention to detail, and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Support the effective day‑to‑day running of the NRPF service, working well within a team, being customer and child focused, and adopting a flexible approach.
  • Demonstrate a can‑do attitude, passionate about high‑quality service delivery and performance.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately (literacy and numeracy).
  • Initiative and a pro‑active approach to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Flexibility to work as part of a diverse team, providing cover when needed and multi‑tasking across roles.
  • Experience working in a pressured environment, handling conflicting priorities effectively.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
