A local government council in the United Kingdom is seeking an Administrative Support professional to aid their Children & Young People's Services. The role includes providing vital business support to social workers and managers, liaising with various external organizations, and maintaining up-to-date records. Working days: Monday, Wednesday and an additional day to be agreed. At least 2 of these days will be office based.
Business Support provides specialist administration support to services across the Council. The postholder will assist in providing effective business and administrative support to key frontline services within the Children & Young People’s Services Directorate. This includes providing a range of administrative support to a team of Social Workers, Practice Manager & Team Managers while liaising with Police, Schools and other professional agencies, taking minutes and ensuring follow‑up actions are progressed.
You will also be expected to maintain up‑to‑date accurate information on computerised records and systems to produce reports and documents in line with corporate standards.
