Overview

Business Support Assistant – Worksop – Contract – £13.26 per hour

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Support Assistant to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Holles Street provides short breaks for adults with learning disabilities and is one of three short breaks services for the County Council.

Key responsibilities
  • First point of contact for callers and visitors – parents, carers, health professionals, Adult Care workers – demonstrating excellent customer care skills and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Perform financial tasks: budget monitoring, making and recording payments from petty cash.
  • Work with the team to record requests for stays, book stays and issue booking confirmations.
  • Use electronic systems to record bookings and attendance accurately; process payments, travel claims and absences for staff through to payroll.
  • Compile management information and statistics using spreadsheets.
  • Work independently, demonstrating initiative.
Qualifications and skills
  • Excellent word processing skills.
  • Competent in spreadsheet usage.
  • Ability to use electronic booking and payroll systems.
  • Awareness of and commitment to Equality, Diversity, Health & Safety issues.
