A local council authority in Salford is seeking a part-time Business Support Officer to assist integrated social work teams. The successful candidate will manage their workload while supporting social workers, ensuring effective minute-taking and maintaining positive team relationships. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and an understanding of data protection principles. This role offers the chance to contribute to a meaningful purpose within the community.

An opportunity for Business Support Officer has become available within the above team supporting the work of Social Workers within the Safeguarding Cluster. Core business hours for the teams are 08:30 16:30. Monday Wednesday and Friday.
This is a busy role and there is an expectation that the post holder is able to manage their own workload and yet work as part of a team, to ensure all the responsibilities of supporting the teams are considered and acted upon within agreed timescales.
The successful candidate will have good minute‑taking skills, (however training will also be given) together with a proven administrative background.
