About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Business Support Assistant to join our Children’s Social Care team within the Education & Early Intervention group. Based at the Crown Building in Wrexham, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of departmental operations through high-quality administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and input data into departmental systems
  • Support the development of spreadsheets and databases
  • Provide reception cover and signpost visitors appropriately
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and assist with diary coordination
  • Prepare documents including letters, reports, and presentations
  • Arrange meetings, book travel/accommodation, and take minutes
  • Handle petty cash and assist with basic financial processes
  • Maintain confidential employee records and uphold data protection standards
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
Person Specification
Essential
