Overview
To provide administrative and clerical support to the Community Learning Disabilities Team (CLDT) and Adult Autism Intensive Support Team, ADO-LDA and Operational Clinical Lead for the service.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the multi-disciplinary Learning Disabilities Team, including booking rooms, coordinating meetings, setting meeting agendas, taking formal minutes and providing information reports as directed by the CLDT Operational Clinical Lead or other clinical leads in the team
- Process referrals for the Community Learning Disabilities Team, including updating the referrals and other databases and providing data reports when requested
- Request purchases on the e-procurement system where delegated to do so
- Monitor stationery and printer supplies and highlight when further supplies need to be ordered
- Type and send standardised letters (e.g. to acknowledge referrals)
- Type and send letters and reports in support of the clinical leads in the team
- Type other documents in support of the team as directed by the clinical leads
- Be responsible for organising and keeping the CLDT shared drive up to date
- Work with the Local Authority systems related to Bernard Weatherill House to support team functioning (e.g. room booking via the Local Authority computer system, being a point of contact for issues relating to the phone, photocopier and building access cards etc.)
- Monitor the generic team telephone number / voicemail and direct callers / pass on messages as appropriate
- Monitor and respond to queries emailed to the CLDT inbox as appropriate
- Use the EMIS system to process referrals and provide data relating to referrals to the team as directed by the CLDT Operational Clinical Lead or a nominated deputy
