Job summary

Reed is seeking a dynamic Business Studies Teacher for a secondary school in Lancaster. You will deliver engaging KS3/KS4 lessons, with KS5 experience a bonus, and support student progression within the curriculum.

You will manage classes effectively, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues across the school. A valid QTS or equivalent is required to join a supportive, long-term team. Competitive daily pay and a welcoming school community are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent and relevant experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4; KS5 experience is beneficial.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
• Reliable, committed, and capable of fostering learning with students.
• Good interpersonal skills, punctuality, and patience when working with children.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Business Studies to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
